How to draw hands for beginners |Learn Hand drawing step by step tutorial
In this tutorial, we will learn to draw hands in three easy steps. We will down its steps into much simpler shapes.
Materials Required : HB for drawing basic shapes and 2B for detailing part.
STEP 1 : Start by drawing the basic structure for palm (square shaped) and wrist. It will help you to understand different proportions. Draw it very lightly by using HB pencil. Follow the reference image as a guide.
STEP 2 : Now draw the basic shapes representing the fingers. Consider height difference between fingers. Middle finger should be the tallest. Keep finger lines little shorter than the basic lines for palm. Make middle finger as a connecting point to other fingers. See the image.
STEP 3 : Use darker pencil (2B) to draw individual fingers and thumb area. Make an outline around the basic finger and palm lines to give it a finishing touch. Follow the reference image closely. Give fingers and thumb little curved shape around the edges. Erase the basic lines at this stage.
